Last Day of Summer Gymnastics

Rachael started taking the big-girl gymnastics class this summer. No more Mommy or Daddy out there spotting her and getting her to pay attention to Coach Tai or Miss Jenny. She has been doing really well. Actually she does much better without us. Although I am still a little sad not to be out there with her, it is nice sitting and drinking my tea while surfing the internet for an hour while watching. I still get hugs and kisses now and then when Rachael runs by to see me. I thought this photo made her look so much older.

Art Fair

There was an Art Fair at the park down the street this weekend. There was much to see, but Rachael liked the face painting and the guy who made the balloon animals the most. Check her out with a butterfly on her cheek and ballon dog when we got back. Daddy was painting the house all weekend. What a project! He gets to paint the house and I get to watch Rachael and go to art fairs. Thank You Daddy!

Play Gallery

The Mom & Tot's Club met at the Play Gallery this morning. Rachael loves it here and is always exhausted when we leave.  Here she is at the sand table.

Ice Cream Social

There was an Ice Cream Social at the park tonight. Complete with band and fireworks. Although we didn't stay out late enough to see the fireworks, Rachael watched them from her bedroom window. Friends stopped by for supper before the social. Rachael had a ball playing with Isabel.
We sure are going to miss these guys when they move. Check out Isabel's blogsite for more photos ...

The State Fair

What a day! We woke up early and headed to the State Fair. Rachael was excited. She has been driving past it the whole week going to daycare and talking about going on the rides. Luckily the rides were closed when we first got there so were able to get past them and see some of the animals. Our favorites were the pig/duck/goat races and the doggie diving contest.
Of course we went back to the rides. She rode everything they would let her on and some of them she rode over and over and over ...

It was a good day. We finished with a snowcone and cotton candy. She was asleep before we left the parking lot.

Mini Golf

Today Rachael and I went mini-golfing. It was her first time, but she had nice form. She can hit as a leftie or a rightie. She is also able to hit through her legs and in rapid succession.

New England Trip

Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful trip. Rachael will miss all of her family and friends and of course her partner in crime.
